Van Driver Killed After Collision with MTA Bus in Staten Island

A van collided with a Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) bus in Staten Island, New York, on October 6th.

Authorities said the accident happened on Arthur Kill Road at Johnson Street, after van driver Marcus Brown, 33, lost consciousness.

Brown was taken to Staten Island University Hospital, where he was later declared dead.

The city bus operator and two passengers were injured. They were also taken to Staten Island University Hospital.
