Glue And Fracking Make Protesting Partners

An anti-fracking protester at the Barton Moss drilling site in Greater Manchester glued herself to the gate. It took two hours for police to pry her loose.

She was arrested.

Another day at the same location, two women glued themselves to a concrete barrel, blocking the road from 7:30 to 10:00 a.m.

They were arrested.

Fracking protestors object to Fracturing, the process by which drillers blast high-pressure fluids deep into subsurface rock, causing the rock to break apart. The waste products of fracking are highly toxic.
