Double-Decker Flips off Chilean Bridge


What: Double-decker Pullman bus en route from Concepcion to Santiago
Where: Chillan, Chile
When: April 15, 2011, 2:30 p.m.
Who: 14 fatalities, 20 injuries
Why: While taking a curve at a high rate of speed, the double decker bus flipped off of an elevated road to strike the ground.

A survivor said the were en route and noticed the driver taking the curve too fast.

Two juveniles were among the 14 dead. Six of the injured are in serious condition. They were transported to hospitals in Chillan and Bulnes.
