Colombia Bus Crash Casualties Mount


The bodies of those who died in Sunday’s tourbus accident in Colombia will be taken to the Forensic institute of Forensic medicine. The vehicle presented with brake failure on the first part of the journey, and brake failure is considered to be the cause of the crash.

It took hours to cut victims free of the mangled bus.

The victims were workers of Gano Excel who had attended a convention in Bogota and were returning to Cali. The workers were traveling in a caravan of buses, all of which are being described as old.

Fourteen injured passengers remain in four hospitals in Fusagasuga, Soacha and Silvania.
