At Least 20 Injured after Trains Collide in Argentina

A freight train collided with a passenger train in Rawson, Chubut, Argentina, on June 30th. Authorities said the accident happened early morning at the train station entrance. At least 20 people were injured in the accident. The seriously injured were taken to hospital.

A truck crashed into a bus near the city of Aflou in Algeria, on June 4th. Authorities said the bus ploughed into an embankment due to the impact and caught fire. At least 33 people were killed in the accident while 22 others were injured.

A tour bus crashed into an embankment and overturned near Erfurt, Germany, on October 30. The bus was en-route to Dresden, at the time. A 5 year-old boy lost his life in the crash, while several other children sustained serious injuries. The incident is under investigation.
